A Free Mega Medical Camp was organized at Aap Shambu, on 18th June 2018 at Aap Shambu, Roop Nagar, Jammu by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda 106 patients was done out. The Camp was attended by Dr. Twinkle Gupta, Associate Prof., PG Scholars and Internees.

Patients of various diseases related OA, General debility, Hypertension, skin diseases, acne, Hyperacidity, UTI, Anaemia, Exzema, worm infestations, hypothyroidises, jaundice and diabetes were examined and free medicines were distributed to the patients.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research organizes free medical camps frequently in Urban and Rural areas of the State to create awareness among the public regarding benefits of Ayurvedic medicines and Panchkarma procedures because of its no side effects.

On conclusion of the camp the Chairperson Smt. Suman Sharma assured to organize such camps in future also to benefit the poor and needy people. Mandir Committee also thanked to Principal Dr. Raghvir Singh, Er. Ravish Sharma, Mr. Ritesh Sharma, Dr. Nitin Mahajan Vice Principal.

Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research is already running a free OPD and IPD for the patients of acute and chronic diseases viz piles, skin disorders at Janipur and Nardni Raipur, Jammu.
