*Induction Programme for BAMS students culminates at Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research*
By blessings of Smt Suman Sharma and Late Dr Roop lal Sharma,Chairman,Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education,Jammu 15 days Induction Programme based on Transitional Curriculum “Ayurdiksha”for fresh batch of BAMS students culminated at Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), Nardni Bantalab, Jammu. During the program, the students were acquainted with the fundamentals of Ayurveda as well as its scope and importance through a series of lectures by the Faculty members of the institute and Guest lectures from eminent personalities associated with Ayurveda like Dr Jatinder Gupta,Retd.Assistant Director,Dr Sakshi Sharma,scientist from RARI,Delhi,Dr Shashikala Bani,Prof,and Dr Raghavendra Shettar,Associate Professor RGES,Ron,Karnataka,Dr Hetal,Professor,NIA,Jaipur,Dr Manisha,Govt Medical Officer,Akhnoor,Dr Poonam Mohod,Research officer,RARIUD,Jammu.
Started on 5th May, 2022, the programme culminated today with last day being allocated for visit to Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI) , Central Council for Research In Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Rajinder Nagar, Bantalab, Jammu.Asst.Director Incharge Dr. Gopesh Kumar Sharma, Research Officers Dr. Shah Aaditya Bhuvanbhai, Dr. Subhash Sharma and Smt. Talat Anjum guided the visit.
The students were provided an opportunity to discover the different aspects in which Ayurveda can be helpful in health care management.
