JIAR created Awareness on World Breastfeeding week Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research created awareness on World Breastfeeding week alongwith e poster presentations by BAMS students and case study presentations by PG Scholars on 7.8.2025 .The theme of the event was to prioritize breastfeeding and create sustainable support systems in the society for breastfeeding mothers .The participation and enthusiasm of the students was appreciated by the management.The activities related to World Breastfeeding Week shall be further carried out for mass awareness about breastfeeding and need in the society to establish long term ,equitable support structures that empower breastfeeding mothers.Entire week long events on breastfeeding week were organised by Dr Shilpa , Assistant Professor Department of Stree Roga Evam Prasuti Tantra ,JIAR.
