*JIAR CELEBRATES 8TH NATIONAL AYURVEDA DAY * Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Jammu started the series of events for celebration of 8th National Ayurveda Day 2023 under the theme “Ayurveda for One Health ” “Har din har kisi ke liye Ayurveda”.
On 8th November, 2023 Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research Jammu organised an Institutional Visit for the students of Scientia International School and a Medicinal Plant based Competition On 8th November, 2023 .JIAR organised a Medicinal Plant related Competition at 11 a.m in which students brought plants with them and some made posters on the plants and demonstrated them.50 students of all the profs participated in the event .Such competitions enhance the knowledge of students regarding herbs and dravyas of Ayurveda.
In other event Institutional Visit for the students of Scientia International School was organised in JIAR in which students with their teachers visited the JIAR Hospital where they went to different departments, laboratory, OPD, IPD, Emergency and Pharmacy. After that, they went to Herbal Garden for visit in which various medicinal plants were demonstrated. Then, they paid visit to Department of Agad Tantra. At last, students recieved refreshment. The teachers were facilitated with plant saplings. in which students with their teachers visited the JIAR Hospital where they went to different departments, laboratory, OPD, IPD, Emergency and Pharmacy.
