A lecture on YOGA AS A BOON FOR CHILDREN IN COVID- 19 was conducted by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research on the Campaign 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ' an initiative by GOI to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence on 14/9/21 at Government Higher secondary School,Bhalwal, Jammu from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. The event was started with welcome address by Dr. Tarun Gupta. Lecture was given by Dr. Namartha Raina and practical demonstration of different Yoga Asanas were also performed by interns. Uses of medicinal plants were told by Dr. Palvi Dubey. Program was concluded with vote of Thanks by Dr. Sukhdev and Dr. Rachin.Principal of School Dr. Kishore sharma appreciated the event. Plantation was also done in school campus where giloy , neem saplings were planted.
PG scholars Dr. Ashish and intern's -Yogesh, Ravi, Adnan,Tarun, Dushali , Kannagi were present in the event and made it a successful event.
