World Leprosy Day was celebrated by Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research ,Jammu on 31/01/2022 at Conference hall of the institute from 11am to 12p.m .World Leprosy Day falls on 30th January.The theme of this year for World Leprosy Day was 'United for dignity'. The event was Inaugurated by Lighting of Lamp by Director Academics Dr.Raghuvir Singh ,Principal Madam Dr Sharda and Prof and HOD, Department of Kriya Sharir Dr Vikas Gupta, Dr Poonam Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Kayachiktisa pesented a PowerPoint Presentation to throw light on various aspects of the disease while Dr. Samiksha Sharma, PG Student also presented with Schemes and health programmes related to Leprosy .All the faculty members, PG Students and internees were present in the event.
The whole event was organised under the supervision of Chairperson mam Smt. Suman Sharma, Managing Directors Mr.Ritesh Sharma and Mr. Ravish Sharma ,CEOs Mrs.Japna Sharma and Mrs.Jasuda Sharma , Vice Principal Dr.Nitin Mahajan.
