JIAR Organize a Milk plant visit to Snow Cap, Milk Plant, Satwari on 08-03- 2022. This is an educational visit, in which 45 students have participated under the guidance of Dr Namartha Raina (Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga), Dr Gopan G
(Assistant Professor, Department of Agad Tantra). During this visit Students got enriched with tremendous knowledge about milk pasteurization methods, cooling methods, Making of Curd, Butter and Lazzi. Quality Control Department explained various testing procedures to detect, adulteration and how to ensure the quality in milk and milk products. Students also got the opportunity to see filling and packing section. The purpose of visit is educational and it is very beneficial for 3rd year BAMS
students they seen all the practical aspects of Milk pasteurization, quality control procedures, filling and pouch packing section.
