JIAR participated in Kisan Mela
A “KISAN MELA” was organised by Department of Agriculture and Horticulture in association with BABA KAILAKH NATH SANSTHAN on 20/03/2022 in the Baba Kailakh Nath Mandir,Upper Thather,Bantalab,Jammu.
Many government and private organisations had put stalls to create awareness of their activities and products.Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research was also invited to create awareness about Ayurveda.A medical camp was organised by JIAR under the guidance of Smt Suman Sharma,Chairperson,Shri Sain Charitable Trust for higher education,Jammu under the campaign “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava” Humara AYUSH Humara Swasthya an initiative by GOI.Around 100 patients were benefitted by the camp and free medicines were distributed. Shri Sham Lal Sharma Ji Ex MLA also visited the stall and appreciated the efforts.
Doctors who attended the patients were Dr.Sharada Principal,Dr Nitin Mahajan, Dr Himani,Dr Nithin Kannan Dr.Rohit Sharma (Dental Surgeon).
PG Scholars - Dr.Samiksha Sharma, Dr. Komal Samyal, Dr.Sourabh Sharma. Interns - Komal, Sanjana and Waqar were present in the camp and made it a successful event.
